Rotana offers a job opportunity as an electrician in Lebanon.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Install, maintain, and repair wiring, equipment, and electrical installations.
- Maintenance of all monitoring and HVAC equipment within the hotel complex with special emphasis on health safety equipment.
- Maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical heating and ventilation equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the hotel.
- Repair of single home/main distribution systems and all indoor lighting and power fixtures/appliances.
- Assist with all emergency services, eg fire alarms, lighting, batteries, and backup power requirements such as generators.
- Monitoring and evaluation of related process control systems, eg general equipment, televisions, hair dryers, shavers, etc., all guest and service lifts.
- Prepare or follow blueprints to locate wiring and equipment and ensure they comply with building and safety codes.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, electrical tools, and test equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- You must be a qualified electrician with a diploma in electrical technical services and a high school degree.
- Proven knowledge of electrical operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Fluency in English and the ability to find faults and correct systems.
- Self-motivated with a pragmatic and flexible approach and the ability to adapt to unexpected events.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Adaptability.
- The ability to take responsibility.
