Job Opportunity at Aramex: Facilities Supervisor in Jordan

Aramex is offering a job opportunity in Amman, Jordan as it is looking for a Facilities Supervisor.

1. Check the premises regularly to ensure security.
2. Record and report emergencies.
3. Supervise the janitorial staff and other workers.
4. Hire contractors for equipment installation and repairs.
5. Evaluate existing systems.
6. Identify technical problems.
7. Monitor planned preventive maintenance.
8. Oversee waste management, garbage collection, product delivery and other operations.
9. Carry out inspections of the facility.
10. Completes records and reports as required.
11. Perform administrative tasks as needed.
12. Perform random checks.
13. Participate in emergency planning.
14. Ensuring that all company and subcontract personnel are complying with HSE Policy.
15. Reporting all personal injuries and incidents and assisting with investigations.
16. Actively supporting and participate in safety and environmental initiatives.

• Problem-solving skills
• Time management skills
• Technical skills: Technical general knowledge and skills like electrical and plumbing repair, carpentry and HVAC repair are important to have. In addition to basic computer literacy.
• The facilities supervisor should have at least 5 years’ experience in the related area.
