DP world is offering a Job Opportunity in India as a Head – Deputy General Manager.
Duties & responsibilities
- Achieve Availability, Reliability, OEE and MMBF as per the department KPI.
- Planning and execution of Capex projects and refurbishments of Equipments as required.
- Ensure the quality of Electrical infrastructure facility such as Switch yard, Substations & DG, General Electrical, Fire detection system etc.
- Monitor, Assess and Process warranty claims on equipment.
- Liaise with external suppliers, service providers and OEM.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply by maintaining DG & other electrical infra structure.
- Maintain Effective Co-ordination with Power supply providers- MUPL & PGVCL.
- Commissioning of new equipment/ Refurbishment of old equipment and Innovations.
- Engineering budget preparation.
- Control R&M cost of Engineering within the approved budget & with cost optimization.
Eligibility criteria
- Good understanding of modern engineering and maintenance management practices and planning skills.
- Management of multi-disciplined teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) within a highly regulated workplace
- Understanding of modern engineering and maintenance management practices
- Well-developed oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to prepare well-structured and comprehensive written submission.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to identify, analyze and solve maintenance problems
