DP world is offering a Job Opportunity in Saudi Arabia as a Head – Facility Management and Projects.
Duties & responsibilities
- Prepare and manage annual budget for the Facility Management
- Ensure the delivery of Facilities Management services to a high standard.
- Ensure records are created and maintained to demonstrate full operational procedures are followed
- Inspects areas in need of maintenance or repair and determines the action needed and document regular facilities inspections
- Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Plans, organizes, prioritizes, and accomplishes a variety of construction, maintenance, repair projects and development projects
- Lead the digital transformation initiatives for Facility Management
- Collaborate with IT department in the identification and implementation of digital technologies into Facility Management.
- Develop long term forecasts related to departmental goals and projects
- Direct or coordinate the supportive services for the department
- Ensure safe working conditions for staff
- Set goals and deadlines for the department
- Responsible to maintain safety and discipline in the work area
- Responsible for Implementation and compliance with HSE policy
- Reporting accidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures
Eligibility criteria
- Experience in Infrastructure and utilities maintenance & Civil Works, related function
Mandatory: 5 to 10 years
Preferable: 10 to 15 years - Minimum experience in managerial role: 5 to 10 years
- Experience in port industry preferred
- Graduate/ bachelor’s degree. Civil Engineering preferred
- Fully Conversant with the safety standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and project management software
- Demonstrated ability to make good decisions
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks
- Excellent in English and Arabic (both writing and speaking)
