INGOT BROKERS is offering a job opportunity in Amman, Jordan as a Backend Software Team leader.

• Capable of prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals without management oversight.
• Strong problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.
• Coordinate with co-developers, keep project manager well informed of the status of development effort, and serve as a liaison between back-end staff and IT manager.
• Produce results effectively and within the deadlines set.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Provide training and support to other team members.
• Refactor, optimize, and improve the existing codebase and database for maintenance and scale.
• Manage the hosting environment, including database administration and application scaling to support load changes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology field
• Previous working experience as a PHP developer for 7+ years.
• Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as Java, PHP Frameworks - Laravel, or Python, and operating systems may be required.
• Solid knowledge Nodejs – WebSocket, Express server.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid OOP and software design knowledge.
• Solid practices with relational and non-relational databases.
• Capable of prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals without management oversight.
• Large capacity for attention to detail.
• Solid Knowledge in Caching.
• Excellent level of written and spoken English and Arabic
