King Hussein Cancer Foundation is offering a Job opportunity in Jordan as a Manager, Information Technology Department.
Duties & responsibilities
- Develops policies and procedures to ensure KHCC compliance with best practices for information governance, data management, cybersecurity
- Conducts internal risk assessments for IT services and applies needed corrective
- Ensure efficient operation of the IT Department and ensures budgetary compliance.
- Oversee the deployment of new IT initiatives inside and outside of the department.
- Provides timely utilization reports to KHCC management.
- Manage all aspects of the IT department including staffing efficiency, competencies, and quality.
- Evaluate and make appropriate recommendations for enhancement or replacement of existing automated systems based on new technological advances.
- Set and implement internal IT regulations.
- Oversee the provision of training for users.
- Establish priorities for systems developments, maintenance and operations.
- Serve as project leader/manager and monitor and reviews the work performance of IT personnel assigned to projects.
- Analyze departmental system’s needs, make recommendations and design the most effective means to satisfy those needs.
- Responsible for the evaluation and recommendation for all IT related acquisitions.
- Any other related duties may be assigned by direct supervisor.
Eligibility criteria
- BSc degree in a related engineering or computer science disciplines.
- Master’s degree is preferable.
- Minimum 10 years for BSc and 8 years for master of experience.
- Three years of the professional experience in a similar administrative position preferably in healthcare.
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
