Netflix is offering an exceptional job opportunity as an HR Business Partner to join the team and work in California, the United States. This role will be responsible for partnering with managers on maintaining culture and ensuring a great employee experience. You’ll lead on talent initiatives such as people and leadership coaching and development, Inclusion and Diversity, talent density, performance management, and employee relations, and partner with the teams on programs like annual compensation review and 360 feedback. The focus of this role is to assess, coach, and influence managers as Netflix scale globally and evolve to ensure teams and employees thrive. You will build collaborative and trusting partnerships across your teams and be sought out for your objectivity, candor, and cultural lens.
Duties & responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR and ER support, thought partnership, and coaching to the managers you partner with.
- A very capable HR Business Partner with a collaborative and influential leadership style and the ability to think creatively about solutions as well as influence others into action.
- Your heightened awareness of the needs of the business will ultimately lead to better partnership and execution of large-scale initiatives within the broader talent team inclusive of cross-functional collaboration in talent acquisition, inclusion, and learning & development.
- The right person for this role must have comfort with ambiguity, be able to make well-informed decisions, and display humility and resilience when you make mistakes. This means you will ask challenging questions, have uncomfortable conversations and consistently seek what is best for Netflix.
Eligibility criteria
- Foundational HRBP experience working for a fast-growing global company.
- Appreciative of differences across countries and regions and experience partnering closely with managers to advance a culture of inclusion and increasing diverse representation throughout an organization
- Comfortable with asking challenging questions, seeking truth, exuding curiosity about our business and possessing a proven track record of rapid self-learning.
- Employee Relations experience with a track record of successfully implementing effective solutions to address the root cause.
- Strong abilities in problem-solving and critical thinking.
