Vectrus is offering a job opportunity in Qatar, as a Facility Control Office Technician I to manage, monitor and maintain situational awareness of all ASI and equipment placed in HAZCON status under the responsibility of the (RNOSC-A). The position will report directly to the Watch Officer. The position may take direction from many military components including the section officer in charge. Program: OMDAC-SWACA
You must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country in order to be qualified for this position.
Duties & responsibilities
- Provides direct support to the ARC of Current Operations Division and information on all ASIs and equipment placed in HAZCON status under the responsibility of the RNOSC-A
- Provides technical and operational support to functional users for managing, monitoring and maintaining situational awareness of all ASIs and equipment placed in HAZCON status under the responsibility of the RNOSC-A.
- Provides assistance in preparing and presenting HAZCON/outage reports for the Current Operations Division, monitor HAZCON outages, and compiles and assists in completing outage trend analysis reports for the Current Operations Division.
- Assists in providing operational status reporting to the RNOSC-A relating to network operations.
- Participates in inter-RNOSC information dissemination, provides initial response to events detected, and assigns trouble tickets to the appropriate RNOSC or USARCC-SWA division or team for further analysis and resolution.
Eligibility criteria
Minimum Qualifications
- Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- High School Diploma required.
- Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field.
Experience:
- At least (5) years' of practical experience working in the IT field and/or communications. Must be familiar with DISA operations circulars, DOD circuit actions and TSO/TSR processing requirements. Must be familiar with Remedy Action Request System for trouble ticket reporting.
