Opportunity description

Google is offering a job opportunity as a Travel and Performance Account Manager to join the team in Toronto and Ontario in Canada for 2021. As an Account Manager, you'll manage relationships with customers, staying focused, taking initiative, and effectively multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment to help expand the customer relationship. Additionally, you'll be an advisor and consultant, as well as a customer advocate within Google. Above all, you will be responsible for meeting your goals.

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Work collaboratively with a team to support growth and maintain a pipeline of opportunities for existing client accounts.
  2. Lead meetings with clients regarding new product and advertising opportunities while ensuring clients are satisfied with their business growth.
  3. Develop forward thinking, data-driven analysis and recommendations that align with client goals and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations for clients.
  4. Provide guidance and troubleshooting support for client accounts and campaigns.
  5. Manage operations within the sales team, prioritizing and executing complex initiatives and ensuring accountability to team goals.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 3 years of experience within digital media, advertising, ecommerce, or performance marketing.
  3. Experience managing a book of business, sales pipeline, and/or client stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Experience with Google Ads, DV360, Search or similar digital advertising campaigns and platforms.
  2. Experience working cross-functionally, internally and externally, toward a strategic plan.
  3. Experience working with data to identify trends and make recommendations.
  4. Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders.
  5. Knowledge of digital media performance patterns and/or branding measurement.
  6. Ability to work with evolving and emerging products, strategically driving and implementing ideas to meet client needs and scale business.
