Aramex offers a job opportunity in Jordan as a Business Development Executive. BDMs, are the driving force behind a company’s growth. Business development corresponds to finding new business opportunities that occur in the business environment and establishment of short and long-term collaborations with potential partners. It involves identifying industry & threshold specific leads, reaching out to the potential decision makers and then handing over the opportunity to the account management team for closure of the deal. Although responsible for bringing in enough qualified leads that generate a certain amount of business, BDMs are not directly responsible for closing deals. Business Development (BD) reps are tasked with researching, prospecting, and qualifying leads before passing them off to the Account Management team to further develop and close. The BD team is dedicated to proactive business development, and source the right contacts to pass along to the salespeople, who will then eventually pitch and close the sale.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Achieve financial growth from new customers by developing interest in Aramex solutions offering and to ensure seamless transition of opportunities to Account Management for continued revenue growth.
- Generate demands and leads by working with vertical marketing and field marketing.
- Profile customers and opportunities through independent research and identifying relevance.
- Establish trusted relationships with customers through discovery meetings and value-based solutions.
- Nurture and cultivate opportunities by Partnering with Account Management to transition opportunity to contract and ensure seamless handover.
