Opportunity description

Alshaya Group offers a job opportunity in Kuwait as a Product Registration & Compliance Officer. The Corporate Logistics Team plan, move and control the flow of goods from point of origin to point of consumption across all divisions, markets and brands within Alshaya as well as manage a range of complex and diverse activities including shipping, freight, warehouse operations, customs clearance (in-bound and out-bound), compliance and project management.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Support the Product Registration and Compliance team, ensuring the department complies with company and local market policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Create and maintain accurate files, reports, and registration dossiers for registration purposes.
  • Prepare and maintain periodic reports on the registration progress.
  • Submission of the registration dossiers and follow up on the registration status with the operations team and authorities when necessary.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and review regulatory dossiers, samples for submissions.
  • Filing applications for products requiring government approval and handling all communications around the regulation process.
  • Assists in writing or updating standard operating procedures, work instructions, manuals, guidelines, or policies.
  • Act as an ambassador for the department & company at all times.
  • Ensure department complies with company, local market & legal policies, procedures & guidelines.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related science/biology degree.
  • It's recommended to have a minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in regulatory affairs/registrations in MENA, supply chain, or Logistics.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills within multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to learn new skills.
  • Organizational skills to maintain large volumes of information in various stages of completion.
  • Problem solving and result oriented.
