Job Opportunity in Qatar: MEP Coordinator with Al Futtaim

Al Futtaim is looking for a qualified Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Coordinator to join the team and work in Doha, Qatar for 2021. The MEP Coordinator will manage the assigned project’s integrated facility management activities and maintain the assets at all times in good quality and compliance with the contractual scope and quality and service manuals. Ensure customer satisfaction through coordination with internal customers and external contractors, vendors.

1. Coordinate Contractor’s assets / Facilities maintenance activities, undertake inspections, preparing performance reports and manage client servicer request.
2. Liaise with the project representatives, Operation team, Engineer/Supervisor and Ensure that all required materials/Spare parts are procured on timely manner and manage the assigned project scope; Provide excellent customer service by planning and ensuring planned preventive maintenance follow up and closure procedures.
3. Any opportunity for the business generation / variance orders at the assigned project should be informed and consulted with the line manager.
4. Control and maintain all master files and records related to approvals, material orders, and technical correspondence with Contractors, Vendors, and Internal departments.
5. Update file numbers in O&M filing system for all PPM/CM activities carried out at site.
6. Conduct proper filing procedures for HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and other FM activities with proper tagging and labelling for respective scope. 
7. Submit all payment certificates and record all documents and filing.
8. Submit timely offers for all casual jobs.
9. Generate new enquires from the existing contract & outside the projects within the professional contact sphere.
10. Prepare & support estimation for remote Tenders as & when the need arises.
11. Technical site visits to collect the details for new enquires as & when the need arises.
12. Manage all the PPMs service providers AMC contracts & prepare the contracts as required 
13. Submit systematic monthly reports to the client.

1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2. 3-5 years of experience in Integrated Facility Management.
3. HVAC/Electrical/ Mechanical Maintenance experience.
4. Technical know-how related to specific maintenance requirements.
5. Good at excel, word and power point.
6. Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical plans, specifications, methods, and procedures.
7. Demonstrated ability to work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with Internal and External customers, Contractor and Subcontractor.
8. Adequate commercial awareness.
