Job Opportunity in Qatar: Senior Interior Planner at Al Futtaim

Al Futtaim is looking for a motivated Senior Interior Planner to join the team and work in Doha, Qatar for 2021. The Senior Interior Planner is responsible to manage the roster of the store team to maximise productivity and ensure availability of staff. You have a critical role of checking the plans for kitchens and wardrobes made by the team to minimise the errors. This leads to considerable cost savings. You will implement the daily/weekly checklist to ensure the store is run on the standard guidelines. In the absence of the Store Leader, you will take the responsibility of the Store Leader.

Budgeting, Planning and Cost Control:

1. Work with the Store Leader to create the monthly store targets. 
2. Break down the store targets to daily/ weekly targets. 
3. Store Disciplines, SOP’s and Routines.
4. Implement the daily/ weekly checklists.
5. Follow the store operating guidelines and ensure team follows the same.
6. Team Management:
7. Manage the team rosters to maximise productivity of staff.
8. Check the planning done by interior planners to minimise errors.
9. Manage the roster for Fitters to maximise the number of deliveries and reduce wasted hours.

Customer Service:

1. Work with the interior planners and fitters to provide the best customer service. 
2. Assist the Store Leader in identifying the training needs and areas of improvement for the team in customer service. 

1. High School or certificate course from technical institutes.
2. 5+ years’ experience in retail preferably in home retail or kitchen industry.
3. 2+ years supervisory position.
4. Should have had experience of managing multi-functional teams, budgeting, operations, promotions and customer service.
5. Team management, Excellent customer service and communication skills.
6. Time management and conflict resolution are added skills that will help.
7. Strong Leader, Multitasker.
8. Should be quick and agile.
9. Problem solver.
10. Attention to detail.
