Opportunity description
Sapphire Recruitment Consultants is looking for a full-time Chief Operating Officer to join the team and work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Duties & responsibilities
- Developing business plans.
- Ensuring the annual budget and KPIs are in line with the strategy.
- Preparing monthly management reports and quarterly board reports.
- Managing and motivating the teams on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensuring the company is always legally compliant.
- Review contracts/agreements and ensure policies are always reviewed and current.
- Oversee the IT requirements along with the marketing and communications strategy.
- Responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day operations
Eligibility criteria
- Degree educated preferably in business administration or similar.
- Arabic would be a definite advantage.
- A self-starting motivated professional with at least five years working experience as a COO or similar.
- Demonstrable competencies and understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing etc.
- A strong understanding of the GCC.
- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure, MS Office and CRM systems.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Good business acumen and the ability to effectively manage, lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective decision maker, with problem solving aptitude.
- Hardworking and inspirational leader with an outstanding work ethic.
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment.
- An understanding of adult Training & Education would be an advantage.
- Good project management skills.
- A strong business network regionally is an advantage.
- Must currently reside in the GCC.
