Al Futtaim is looking for a motivated Credit Risk Analyst to join the team and work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for 2021. Risk Analyst will support in the Risk Management of Captive Finance and In-house Finance (IHF) Credit Risk Assessment functions. The person will be responsible for Portfolio Analytics and Underwriting for various Al-Futtaim Automotive portfolio (including AFTRS - Hertz portfolio). The job role will also involve escalation of cases which are beyond the delegated authority of person. Similarly, the person would receive escalation cases from levels below him.
Duties & responsibilities
- Support in development of a Credit Risk Framework (Risk Policy Guidelines, Policy Renewal Program, Portfolio Credit Management, Risk Process) for all segments (within UAE).
- Performing detailed analytics (analysis of underwritten portfolio along with analysis of collections data).
- Create Risk reporting dashboards for various segments and countries.
- This role will be actively involved in the underwriting process for IHF/Captive Finance.
- Proactively monitor key credit risk metrics relating to product, channel, exceptions and vintage performance.
- Document performance versus risk profiles and thresholds.
- Provide suggestions for improvement.
- Underwrite Credit Cases.
- Prepare Credit Appraisal reports for large value cases.
- Risk management of residual values.
- Supporting governance of residual values.
- Maintenance of Risk Register.
- Support Risk Reporting for all customer segments.
- Manage annual policy review and portfolio thresholds.
- Ensure the understanding and acceptance of Risk criteria and KPIs at each level.
- Implement and Monitor Credit Delegation framework in line with Group / Risk requirement.
- Regular Process of Risk reporting for all segments and markets.
- Create and Manage Training program for enhancing capabilities and improved risk decision making.
