Job Opportunity in the UAE: Receivables & Collections Accountant at Charterhouse

Charterhouse is offering a job opportunity as a Receivables & Collections Accountant to join the team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. 

1. Take ownership of all areas of accounts receivable and transactional accounting whilst being focused towards the management of collections and any invoice management.
2. The role will take responsibility for the oversight of all aspects of general ledger maintenance and the finalisation of bank reconciliations.
3. The position will also have a review of billing cycles and work-in-progress across the firm to ensure timely controls and accurate collection targets.

1. The client within this search will look to recruit a professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, across a receivables function, within the UAE market.
2. In conjunction, applicants shall also require exposure to a legal firm and/or a professional services type environment; to ensure a company alignment and a transfer of knowledge.
3. The successful candidate shall demonstrate a working background across billing systems (Elite 3E, Peachtree or PCLaw) combined with strong Excel for reporting purposes.
4. As a final criterion, the client will look for a clear and concise communicator with an ability to partner with the frontline business.
