Opportunity description
Charterhouse is offering a job opportunity as a Receivables & Collections Accountant to join the team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Duties & responsibilities
- Take ownership of all areas of accounts receivable and transactional accounting whilst being focused towards the management of collections and any invoice management.
- The role will take responsibility for the oversight of all aspects of general ledger maintenance and the finalisation of bank reconciliations.
- The position will also have a review of billing cycles and work-in-progress across the firm to ensure timely controls and accurate collection targets.
Eligibility criteria
- The client within this search will look to recruit a professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, across a receivables function, within the UAE market.
- In conjunction, applicants shall also require exposure to a legal firm and/or a professional services type environment; to ensure a company alignment and a transfer of knowledge.
- The successful candidate shall demonstrate a working background across billing systems (Elite 3E, Peachtree or PCLaw) combined with strong Excel for reporting purposes.
- As a final criterion, the client will look for a clear and concise communicator with an ability to partner with the frontline business.
