Opportunity description

Aramex is offering a full-time job opportunity as a Global Strategy and PMO Senior Specialist to join the team in Amman, Jordan. 

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Ensure alignment of strategy to the company’s overall direction.
  2. Manage and document entities’ strategic initiatives and progress.
  3. Collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to form actionable insights and outlooks assisting in corporate strategy.
  4. Track deliverables and financial targets.
  5. Ensure strategic alignment to corporate and station P&L.
  6. Drive strategic decisions on revenue and cost optimizing initiatives and targets.
  7. Assist in the budget development and forecasting exercise.
  8. Identify performance gaps and help in setting strategic initiatives that address weaknesses and enforce strengths.
  9. Provide reporting to senior management and stakeholders on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis on strategic and financial updates and achievements.
  10. Build rapport and interact with key stakeholders and leaders across the organization.
  11. Contribute to the strategic planning process by aligning top-down and bottom-up strategies and establishing strategic goals.
  12. Facilitate communication between entities and global functions providing the needed support.
  13. Facilitate interdepartmental alignment between Strategy, Market intelligence, and PMO. 
  14. Responsible for tools, standards, and methodology.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Min. 4 years of experience in financial modeling/business case development.
  2. Bachelors/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management Finance, Economics, or any other related business field.
  3. Min. 3 years of experience in business administration, management consulting, or strategic planning.
  4. Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Smartsheet user, Excel, and Power BI.
  7. Tableau is a plus.
