Opportunity description

Orange is offering a full-time job opportunity as a Tech Network Engineer to join the team in Cairo, Egypt

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Maximize the quality of the delivered services and customer satisfaction by validating the provided detailed technical design of complex VPNs in terms of feasibility, ensuring on-time and error-free implementation and proactive network auditing.
  2. Provide level 3 Incident Management support.
  3. Optimize cost-effectiveness of service provisioning by efficient involvement of support models, tools and processes.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Degree in telecommunications field.
  2. Riverbed and Cisco certificate level is a must, CCIE advantageous.
  3. Network programmability is a plus.
  4. 4 years’ experience in OBS network topology and/or in an operational IP environment.
  5. Knowledge of the following: TCP/IP, Riverbed related protocols, MPLS, IPX, ATM, Frame Relay, BGP4, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, VoIP, IPT, IPSec, UNIX foundation.
  6. Background of Riverbed and CISCO Family Systems.
  7. Customer Oriented Attitude.
  8. Good organization.
  9. Detail-oriented.
  10. Time management.
  11. Decision Making.
  12. “Can Do” Attitude.
  13. Team Spirit.
  14. Fluent in both spoken and written English (additional language may be required).
