Nestle is offering a job opportunity as an Inter-Market Supply Supervisor to join the team in Cairo, Egypt.

1. The Inter-Market Supply (IMS) Supervisor is responsible for efficiently managing and ensuring a ready supply of finished goods, bulk, and raw materials to import to the MENA Region.
2. The position is part of the IMS control tower team looking after imports into the MENA region and with external parties and shipping lines.
3. The scope includes the finished goods exports from factories in the MENA region and within the region as well as outside the region through triangular invoicing. The role also oversees SAP transactions, the management of the physical flow of goods, guaranteeing on-time customer order fulfillment, and consistent receiver satisfaction.  
4. Supervise Import/Export related activities with relevant IMS affiliates / MENA factories for smooth execution of planned shipments.
5. Reduction on documentation lead time and requirements by conducting process mapping with suppliers. Using Lean methodology with suppliers for TDC savings and zero demurrage.
6. Ensure monthly adherence to functional health checks and periodic review of General Shipping Instructions (GSI) for better management of risk and opportunities.
7. Communicate and collaborate regularly and consistently with all the other areas involved in the Supply Chain end-to-end process (i.e., supply planners, import clearing officers, CS &D Managers, suppliers, regulatory, shipping lines, globe, finance) on IMS related matters.
8. Establish relationships with category supply planners, IMS suppliers and OPCs by initiating regular alignment / reviews to manage exceptions and potential issues. (e.g., DOR, WOR, MOR, QOR).
9. Accelerate clearance with customers /OPCs and ensure timely readiness of the stocks for sale in collaboration with demand planners and import clearance officers.
10. Monitor IMS claims to suppliers within the agreed lead-time to closure.
11. Perform order management activity for agent’s order (depends on the category of assignment).
12. Supervise and monitor 3PL IMS control tower day-to-day task and initiate regular reviews and alignment.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics or in International Procurement and Materials Management.
2. 2-4 years of experience in Import/Export or shipping industry.
3. Understands Best Practices, implication and alignment points in Intermarket Supply partnership and supply planning processes.
