Alshaya Group is offering a job opportunity as a Technical Support Engineer to join the team in Kuwait. 

1. Degree with a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in IT support field.
2. Handling On-site/Off-site Computer Hardware & Network problems at any point of time.
3. Assembling and Installing Point of Sale Systems.
4. RHCE certification.
5. Supporting IT certification is an added advantage.
6. Develop, implement, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures.
7. Strong working experience with LDAP.
8. Ability to install, configure, customize, and support typical Linux services.
9. Upgrading and Migrating of Operating systems and Software applications.
10. Configuring and installing servers RHEL 6/7 or CentOS 6/7.
11. Handling of Network Designing, Cabling and Installation of the IT infrastructure for proposed stores.
12. Experienced on installation & troubleshooting in Linux (L3 level).
13. Automation knowledge with Bash scripting or other scripting languages.
14. Excellent Knowledge of MySql / SQL.
15. Must be willing to work on shifts.
16. Exposure to Toshiba / IBM POS is an advantage.
17. Strong network, firewall, and security know-how.
18. Windows & Linux experience.
19. Willing to work in shifts (Including weekends).
20. Willing to travel extensively as the job involves visiting the stores.
21. Excellent communication skills.
