Jobs in the UAE: Quality Controller and Road Tester with Al Futtaim Group

Al Futtaim is offering a job opportunity as a Quality Control Road Tester to join the team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

1. Execute assigned jobs according to established work standards, specifications and required time
2. Maintain the discipline of the service establishment, safe and clean area through strict adherence of company rules, regulations and procedures
3. Carry out vehicle inspection and conduct road test ensuring compliance with agreed performance and quality standards and record the results.
4. Inspect repaired vehicle based on inspection quality standard and as per Repair Manual
5. Help and advice Service Advisors /Technicians and customers as required ensuring a high standard of delivery on time. Ensure to maintain the Fix it right at first time ratio
6. Collect information and keep data on work carried out as required and keep update with the related Job cards /repair orders.
7. Keep up with new technology, work procedures, time standards and relevant technical know-how to maintain or improve work productivity and quality.
8. Perform other tasks assigned by immediate superior or manager, if necessary
9. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
10. Perform all duties and responsibilities mentioned in the related business SOPs
11. Comply with the ALAC Quality Management System and participate with organization’s improvement activities
12. Carry out work with care ensuring not to endanger the life either of themselves or others by theirs acts or omissions whilst complying with health and safety requirements of the company and preventing any harm to the environment.

1. A Degree/ Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering and Valid UAE driving license is must.
2. At least 3 years’ experience as a Quality Controller or Foreman within a reputable automotive dealership or preferably from multi franchise vehicles handling workshop.
3. Technically competent, with the ability to understand the job needs and requirements.
4. Ability to guide and support technicians/supervisors on vehicle repairs
5. Proactive approach when dealing with repeat repair complaints and provide best quality improvement method to avoid repetitive complaints.
