Opportunity description

PwC is seeking a professional Receptionist to join their Internal Firm Services team in Amman, Jordan. The chosen candidate will act as a high-quality internal service provider, ensuring that all visitors are greeted courteously and that all administrative support requirements within the office are being met efficiently.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and make sure all callers and visitors are dealt with promptly, courteously, and accurately.

  • Ensure visitors are made comfortable, met on a timely basis by their host, shown to the appropriate room, and assisted with parking if relevant.

  • Operate the switchboard, screen, and route incoming telephone calls, take messages, and answer queries.

  • Maintain visitor and caller logs accurately.

  • Receive deliveries and coordinate outside delivery/courier services with the help of Office administrators.

  • Answer queries from visitors and callers, and refer them to the appropriate person.

  • Perform general maintenance of the reception area and book meeting rooms and collaborative spaces.

  • Manage incoming and outgoing faxes and ensure they are distributed accurately.

  • Support the office manager in event planning and organization.

Eligibility criteria

  • Ability to work as a high-quality internal service provider to ensure administrative support requirements are met.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills to greet visitors and answer queries courteously.

  • Organizational skills for managing caller logs, switchboards, deliveries, and meeting room bookings.

  • Capability to act as a key resource and liaison to other functional areas of the business.

  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.

  • Detail-oriented approach for handling incoming/outgoing faxes and basic office maintenance.
