Remote Assistant Counselor Internship at Knovva Academy for Graduates

Knovva Academy is looking for a Fully Remote Assistant Counselor Intern to join our team. Knovva Academy is looking for an Assistant Counselor Intern to join our team. The Assistant Counselor Intern will assist in the development, delivery and administration of Knovva’s counseling experiences. The candidate will help Knovva’s college and academic counselors to support students in researching options and ensure they complete all the necessary steps in the college application process and more.

1. Consultations: Assisting and administrating Knovva’s counselors in one-on-one private meetings between each student and a college counselor, which will be ongoing throughout the application process. 
2. College Research: Using data-driven metrics to help Knovva’s counselors to match students with the ideal college for them.
3. College essay support: Reviewing and editing students’ essays under the supervision of the counselros  
4. Research and Development: Conducting independent research on college and academic counseling, and working cross functionally with product management, sales and marketing on continued counseling experience improvement 
5. Counseling Administration: Assisting counselors to manage student’s profiles on CollegePlannerPro and intake documentations

• BA or M.Ed in Education or related field from a regionally accredited college or university
• 1+ years of experience in college admission process required
• Exceptional English writing and communication skills 
• Self-starter, strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
• Fast learner and innovator
• Strong academic track record
