Remote Casting Internship for Students with ABC Entertainment at Walt Disney Company

Walt Disney is offering the ABC Entertainment Casting Internship to work remotely in the Spring of 2022. 

1. Assisting in reviewing the casting materials of current and future actors for demo reels.
2. Providing support with basic editing for demo reels and other items, using iMovie.
3. Supporting current Assistants and Coordinator with light desk and phone coverage.
4. Assisting in compiling documents, memos and light scheduling.
5. Supporting various talent initiatives such as Actor Audition Workshops and Talent Showcase, with various tasks including scheduling talent auditions, curating lists, and overall general office support.

1. Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
2. This internship is a remote internship. The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space.
3. The approximate dates of this internship are January through May.
4. Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
5. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
6. Proven skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
7. A high attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
8. A familiarity with YouTube, Webisodes, and like genres.
9. A demonstrated proficiency with both Mac and PC operating systems.
10. A strong interest in Television and the Entertainment Industry.
11. Previous experience in entertainment and casting.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year, or a recent graduate (applying within six months of graduation).
2. Proficiency with iMovie/iDVD/Final Cut Pro.
