Remote Job at Binance in Australia: QA Engineer - Exploratory

Binance is offering a job opportunity as itis looking for an experienced QA Engineer – Exploratory in Australia, Sydney / Full-time: Remote (mid to senior level) to support testing of our high-performance backend software stack with a focus on Exploratory testing.

This entails the full life cycle of testing from designing tests to identify and understand issues, developing them into scripts and executing them for future iterations.

1. Hands-on manual investigation and reproduction of functional backend software issues
2. Root cause analysis of existing test script failures
3. Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage
4. Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact
5. Documentation and design of candidate test scenarios for the above

1. 6+ years of backend QA engineering experience
2. Full cycle testing from designing manual tests, developing scripts and execution
3. Strong experience with Unix/Linux
4. Scripting ability using Python, Bash
5. Experience testing backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed services (non-monolithic)
6. Enjoys breaking things and solving problems - not just able to find out the 'what', but also the 'why'
7. Clear, logical communicator in English
