Supply Chain Internship in Slovakia at Dell Company

Dell Company is offering a supply chain Internship in Bratislava, Slovakia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of supply chain analytics using statistical methodologies. Intern will be responsible for developing analytics that inspire improvements in the global supply chain for the Post Warranty Supply chain and will deliver intelligent decisions based on scientific discovery and supply chain experience.    

About the Role:-

• Everything in Dell Technologies is ground-breaking, from the designers of the products to the developers of the supply systems. 
• Dell’s Supply Chain team within Materials and Purchasing drives the development, implementation and management of supply chain operations and suppliers in the delivery of strategic programs. 
• It’s all about managing supplier relationships and ensuring the availability of parts and services in the supply chain, while maintaining inventory at acceptable levels. 
• Dell focuses its resources on the continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes and establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting.

• Work with Db tools like SQL and Oracle.
• Work with statistical tools like R-Studio, Python, SAS.
• Deliver statistical findings with recommendation to supply chain leadership.

• Essential Requirements:
• Statistical knowledge in R-Studio/Python.
• Decision Intelligence experience on developing and delivering recommendation.
• Write and speak English to discuss in global forums.
• Desirable Requirements
• Understanding of financial balance, cash flow, and income accounting.
• Understanding of Micro economics, specifically how to calculate Elasticity of Demand.
