Disney is offering ABC Scheduling internship, Spring 2022 - in Burbank, California, United States.
Duration:
The approximate dates of this internship are January 2022 through June 2022. Candidate must be available to work 3 days (aka 24 hours) a week for the majority of the internship.
Duties & responsibilities
- Attend meetings to gain insight into the scheduling process as well as the broader TV business
- Become familiar with ABC brand, shows, and departments
- Assist with office duties
- Help with data and document gathering
- Complete ad hoc projects, decks, and reports
Eligibility criteria
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six months at time of application or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program.
- Enrolled in a graduate program at a college/university taking at least one class in the semester prior to participation in the internship program, or recently graduated within six months at time of application.
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook), Keynote, and Zoom
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to learn and grow
- Trustworthy with sensitive and confidential information
- Passion for television and interest in working at a tv network
- Candidates must be able to provide own housing and transportation tin the Burbank, CA area.
- At least 18 years of age
- Unrestricted work authorization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Desire to work specifically in broadcast television and/or work in tv scheduling
- A degree or job related to media or communications
- Familiarity with Slack messenger
- Ability to learn new/unfamiliar software programs easily
