Over the past seven years, the <a href="http://www.globaleditorsnetwork.org/">Global Editors Network</a> (GEN) has organized the <a href="https://www.datajournalismawards.org/#">Data Journalism Awards</a> competition to celebrate and credit outstanding work in the field of data-driven journalism worldwide.  The application for the 2018 prizes is now open and data journalism teams from around the world have until March 26, 2018 to apply. *Your project must be in one of 12 categories listed <a href="https://www.datajournalismawards.org/categories/">here </a>*The announcement of the winning projects will be on May 31, 2018.
