New Roads School invites all teen filmmakers to be part of the 2021 Climate Changemaker Film Festival. The festival is looking for short films that explore climate change-related topics or call-to-action films that inspire viewers to make a change.

- Short films invite the viewer to take the desired action.
Prizes:
High School Prizes:
- Best Short Film - 1st Place: 20 trees planted in your name
- Best Short Film - Runner Up: 10 trees planted in your name
- Best Impact Film - 1st Place: 20 trees planted in your name
- Best Impact Film - Runner Up: 10 trees planted in your name
- Audience Choice (High School): 10 trees planted in your name
Middle School Prizes:
- Best Short Film - 1st Place: 20 trees planted in your name
- Best Short Film - Runner Up: 10 trees planted in your name
- Best Impact Film - 1st Place: 20 trees planted in your name
- Best Impact Film - Runner Up: 10 trees planted in your name
- Audience Choice (Middle School): 10 trees planted in your name
All winning films will premiere at the Climate Changemaker Teen Film Festival on Earth Day (April 22nd).
Submission Rules:
- All subject matter must be related to climate change.
- Open to the US and International middle school or high school students (ages 10-18 years old) with a climate change-related short film.
- Films must be under 5 minutes.
- Films must be made by students in Middle School or Upper School (ages 10-18).
- If you are older than 18, you are not qualified.
- Adult participation should be limited to coaching or acting.
- All legal licenses for music and images have been cleared and approved in advance by the filmmaker.
- By submitting your film to the Festival you grant them the right to use excerpts in the promotion on social media or websites.
- Films in languages other than English must include English subtitles.
