Photocrowd invites photographers from around the world to participate in the Street Life Photography Competition in association with the Global SinoPhoto Awards. All of life can be seen in our neighborhood streets: Its character can change as day turns to night. A meeting place or transit space where the best fashion trends are always spotted, children play and traders encourage us to buy their produce.
Prize Details:
The winners will be formally announced at the Global SinoPhoto Awards ceremony in a central London location (The event is subject to the UK government’s COVID-19 policy and restrictions. Details are to be confirmed), where the images will be exhibited. Guests will include leading figures from the arts, media, and commerce from across the Anglo/International/Chinese communities.
The overall winner of the Global SinoPhoto Awards 2020 will receive a $2,500 (USD) cash prize.
Eight category winners will receive a $250 (USD) cash prize, including both winners in the 'Street Life' category for 13-17 year-olds (The Youth category will have two winners: panel judged and crowd judged).
Certificates will be issued to the 2nd and 3rd placed photographers in the 6 main categories. In the 'Street Life' category (for 13-17 year olds), the judge's runner-up and the crowd-vote runner-up will also receive certificates.
How it Works:
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest but Photocrowd will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favorite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
