Competition for Filmmakers from the Environmental Film and Screenplay Festival

The Environmental Film and Screenplay Festival invites all creative filmmakers all over the world to participate with their films and compete within the festival to advance public understanding of the environment.

About the Festival:-

• The Environmental Film and Screenplay Festival is a festival designed to showcase the best of new environmentally themed films (shorts, features) and screenplays (shorts, features, TV pilots) from around the world. 

• The festival accepts any genre (animation, comedy, experimental, horror etc.) as long as it has an underlying environmental theme. 

• The festival seeks to advance public understanding of the environment through the power of film and storytelling; which is why this festival has been created. 

Film Categories:-

• Short Film (1 to 10 minutes).
• Short Film (10 to 45 minutes).
• Feature Film (over 50 minutes).
• Screenplay Festival Submission (TV, Short, Feature).

Awards:-

• A winning Environmental screenplay(s) will be performed at the festival every single month using professional actors. Then a video of the performance reading will be sent to the writer.

• A festival will be showcased every other month using the flagship FEEDBACK Film Festival format. Right now because of the COVID-19 situation, private and virtual festivals will be done where the filmmaker will receive their audience feedback video. 

• Then whenever the time is right the festival will go back to the regular cinema screenings in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City.

Rules and Terms:-

• All film submissions can obtain the committee's feedback notes on their film if it is not formally shown at the festival as per the filmmaker's request.
• The participation isn’t free and the fees ranges from $40 to $85 for the standard participants according to each category.
