Opportunity description
MediBang is offering a "Cyberpunk" drawing competition, inviting professionals and amateurs to share their creative designs. Cyberpunk is a subgenre of science fiction in a dystopian futuristic setting that tends to focus on a "combination of low-life and high tech" featuring advanced technological and scientific achievements, such as artificial intelligence and cybernetics. Created by Bruce Bethek as the title of his short story Cyberpunk, published in 1983, he presented advanced science, such as information technology and automated control.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Anyone can enter the contest, regardless of whether they are a pro or just draw as a hobby.
- No limit to the number of times a person can apply. Entrants are welcome to submit multiple works.
- Only primary works that entrants own all the rights to distribute for free and unpublished works may be entered.
- Plagiarism, or any double works which have been submitted to another contest outside ART street, will not be accepted.
- You may enter an artwork you have posted on social media in the past. You can also post your artwork on social media during the entry period.
- Entries that are sexual, or might result in causing harm to other people are not accepted.
- Submissions that have ever awarded in other contests except ART street cannot be entered.
- Submissions for commercial use are prohibited.
- Please keep the original data during the period from the start of the contest application period until the result announcement.
- Works that are submitted to the contest will be posted for free and without compensation on the website managed by MediBang, Inc., social networking services/sites, catalogs, etc., for purposes such as contest promotion, advertising, announcing the results, etc.
Prizes:
- Excellence Award (3 winners max) ：50,000 yen
- Selected Winner (5 winners max) ：10,000 yen
Entry Format:
- JPG, PNG, PSD, MDP (File size: Under 30MB).
- No designated size, but the DPI must be at least 300
