FIA FEST International Festival for Undergraduate Filmmakers in Colombia 2021

Film Free Way invites amateur and professional filmmakers from undergraduate students around the world to compete with their films at the FIA FEST 2021 Festival organized by the School of Communication of the University of La Sabana, in Chia Colombia.

Rules & Terms:

• All entries must be original, student-created films.
• All the works for the competition category need to be finished after the 1st of January 2019.
• By submitting your work, you certify that you hold the necessary rights for the presentation of this film at FIAfest.
• Only one film can be submitted for each filmmaker o producer.
• The Festival does not pay screening fees as it is a non-profit festival.
• Short films can only be submitted in one category.
• All Short films must have English subtitles unless their spoken language is Spanish.
• The duration of the short films should not exceed 20 minutes.
• FIAfest does not accept audiovisual products that contain scenes of explicit sex, child abuse, animal abuse or disrespect the integrity of individuals.
• Shortfilms must be rated PG13.
• Universidad de La Sabana reserves the right to use part of the work to promote the festival.

• BEST NARRATIVE SHORT FILM.
• BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT FILM.
• BEST ANIMATED SHORT FILM.

• Best Short Film
• Best Director
• Best Photography
• Best Art Direction
• Best Film Editing
• Best Sound Design
• Best Screenplay

Documentary:

• Best Documentary Shortfilm.

Animation:

• Best Animated Shortfilm.
