African Changemakers main vision is to amplify African leadership, ingenuity and social innovations in every community across the world, their impact in communities both local and global through harnessing
values-driven innovative solutions and sustainability to champion transformation in Africa and beyond. With values such as: diversity, inclusiveness, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and impact, African Changemakers aims to identify, spark new ideas, nurture creative innovation, and develop engaged change-making leaders and communities that will bring about transformation and impact across Africa and beyond. African Changemakers Fellowship (#ACFellowship) Program selects impressive African visionaries between ages 25-40 to train and empower them to change their communities positively across Africa and beyond. These committed changemakers know best how to transform businesses and their communities’ social issues. This Fellowship Program continues to develop African leadership and entrepreneurial skills through training, mentorship, collaboration, and a connected network to global change makers. You will learn a lot from African Changemakers and they will learn a lot from you. African Changemakers Fellowship is through a selection application process; selected applicants are enrolled in FREE intensive 5 weeks online training focusing on leadership and economic development, social innovation, project management and civic engagement.
Applicants must :
[1] Be between 25-40 years old.
[2] Be citizens from any of the 54 African countries.
[3] Fluent in English (can read and speak in English).
[4] Have access to internet, computer, laptop or mobile device to connect to online program.
[5] Be able to commit a full 5 hours a week to the program.
[6] Be passionate about using their skills to make positive impact in their community and businesses.
[7] Be interested in leadership and social enterprise for African sustainable development.
[8] Can demonstrate leadership and collaborative skills with people.
[9] Can demonstrate initiative, self-direction, and a “can-do” attitude.
The applicants are expected to:
[1] Share, collaborate and learn everything on civic engagement.
[2] Gain a comprehensive knowledge about entrepreneurship, leadership, project management, social enterprise and mentorship.
