<p>NYU Abu Dhabi offers Humanities Research Fellowships for the 2021 - 2022 academic year. They fellowships cover a multitude of disciplines such as economics, political science, psychology, or linguistics to name a few.</p><p>This program aims to help create an energetic, multi-faceted research environment for the Humanities at NYUAD&#39;s campus. To this end, NYUAD is annually inviting applications from distinguished senior scholars, as well as from promising junior scholars for residential fellowships at NYUAD&rsquo;s Institute. Fellows contribute to NYUAD&#39;s intellectual community through research and research-related activities, including sharing their work-in-progress with NYUAD faculty and students and participating in scholarly networks engaged in ongoing research centered at the NYUAD Institute.</p><h3>Eligibility criteria:</h3><p>For senior research fellow: outstanding scholarly accomplishment, including an internationally recognized publication record. Mid-career scholars with strong publication records and exceptional scholarly promise may be considered in this category.</p><p>For research fellow: Ph.D. received within the previous five years and a strong record of scholarly accomplishment.</p><h3>Required materials:</h3><ul><li><strong>Senior Research Fellow:</strong></li></ul><ol><li>A summary of the proposed research, including a rationale for conducting the work at NYUAD (circa 3-5 pages)</li><li>Curriculum Vitae</li><li>Names of three references</li></ol><ul><li><strong>Research Fellow:</strong></li></ul><ol><li>Abstract of doctoral dissertation or published book</li><li>Title page, table of contents, and an excerpt (approximately 50 pages) of a dissertation or published book</li><li>A detailed proposal of the work to be completed during the fellowship, including a rationale for conducting the work at NYUAD (circa 3-5 pages)</li><li>Curriculum Vitae</li><li>Three letters of recommendation</li></ol>
