Funded Postgraduate Scholarships and Fellowships for Yemeni Doctors in Egypt 2018

The Hadramout Health Organization, in coordination with the Hadramout Foundation, is offering grants for those enrolled in postgraduate studies in Egypt. The grant is provided by the Higher Commission for Medical Specialties - Egyptian Fellowship.

Specialties included in the scholarship and duration:

1. Oral surgery: for 5 years of study.
2. Complementary and burns surgery: for 6 years of study.
3. Kidney Disease: for 4 years of study.
4. Digestive system and liver diseases: : for 4 years of study.
5. Ear, Nose and Throat: for 5 years of study.
6. Dermatology: for 4 years of study.

Requirements:

1. Applicants must be Yemeni nationals.
2. Applicants must at least score 80% (very good) in a bachelor's degree level to study in main and secondary disciplines.
3. Applicants should not be a beneficiary or withdrawn from another scholarship at the beginning or during the course of the study.
4. Applicants must commit to returning home after completing their studies
5. Applicants are not to withdraw from the specified grant upon submitting the application and are not entitled to change the specialization after acceptance. If this happens, the student will pay all the financial consequences in advance.
6. Applicants have to fill out the scholarship application form.
7. Applicants should not be employees of a government job, but if they have, it is required to be available at all times (applicants must submit a letter of their availability).
8. Applicants should provide certificates of experience in a previous voluntary work.
9. Applicants must attend and be available to reside in the country of scholarship.
10. Applicants must pass an interview and an exam.
11. Applicants must be medically fit according to a medical report.

About Hadramout Health Organization

Hadramout Health Organization is a non-governmental health organization established in Mukalla in Hadramout Governorate in the Republic of Yemen. It was registered in the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in September 2010 as No. 425 as a health organization covering the activities of Hadramout and then all governorates of the Republic. Its organizational structure includes a Board of Founders, a Board of Trustees and an Executive Management. The Hadramout Health Organization, in coordination with the Hadramout Foundation for Development, announced the availability of postgraduate scholarships in the program of the "Higher Commission for Medical Specialties of the Egyptian Fellowship" for Yemeni doctors enrolled in the Egyptian Fellowship.
