Internship at Ashoka: Fellows Search and Selection Intern

Ashoka was founded on the Venture model 30 years ago, and Venture remains the heart of Ashoka. Ashoka believes that the growth of a global citizen sector begins with the work of individual social entrepreneurs. Interns are being connected to the world’s leading social innovators and are treated like staff members and have similar responsibilities. Interns have the opportunity to attend all meetings, conferences, events and to take part in all the office operations, procedures and programs. As a Search and Selection intern you will work closely with the Venture Assistants to conduct the following activities: searching for and engaging new nominators, participate in the candidates’ preliminary interviewing process, support in writing and editing of Fellowship candidates’ profiles and support the team to prepare materials for the panel selection. Internships are unpaid but work related expenses are covered. Ashoka is based in Manial, Cairo, Egypt. The working week is Sunday through Thursday from 9 AM - 5 PM. Interns are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Internships are available across Ashoka Arab World (AAW) programs. Interns are requested to bring their own laptop.
