Opportunity description
The MIT Arab Conference 2020 will be hosting a virtual Startup Demo Day on Nov 14&15. The MIT Arab Startup Demo Day is a platform to showcase young MENA-based (or focused) startups. Selected startups will participate in both the pitch day and the exhibition and unique exposure to a wide audience which includes early-stage investors.
Eligibility Criteria:
Any startup that meets the following criteria is eligible to apply:
- Has received less than $15,000 in funding to date.
- Has at least 2 team members.
- Based out of the MENA region OR has a regional focus on MENA for their business.
- Are ready for early-stage funding
Investor Details:
Anyone who is an early-stage is eligible to receive free full access to the conference. This may include angel investors or representatives of VCs, PEs, accelerators, and others. People registered as investors have priority privileges during the startup demo day.
Benefits:
Each selected startup will be given a unique opportunity to pitch to a large audience, as well as engage with early-stage investors from the MENA region. They will also receive a virtual booth to showcase their work and interact with the public. They are also setting seed funding awards.
