Maghreb Photography Awards and Cash Prizes Worth of $2000

Maghreb Photography Awards is inviting individuals who have  photo projects realized in one of the countries of the Arab Maghreb (Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya), or in one of the following Islamic regions : (Egypt, Middle-East, Turkey or Iran) to take part in 2020 edition of its annual competition. That will give their projects a chance to be rewarded by professionals and for them to have a world exhibition.

Eligibility criteria for participation:

Maghreb Photography Awards’  annual competition is open to everyone, amateurs and professionals alike.

Prizes:

Winners and those that are commended will have their work showcased to a global audience by MPA media partners. This edition’s prize pool worth 2000 in cash, as follows:

• Winner of the « Maghreb photographer of the year »:

1. 1000$ Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer). 
2. Projection of the photography project at photo festival « Les Rencontres de la Photographie de Marrakech ».
3. Note that: This category is reserved for photographers born in the Maghreb, or having Maghreb roots, or Maghreb resident for more than ten years.

• The best photo project from the Maghreb :

1. 500$ Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer).
2. Projection of the photography project at photo festival « Les Rencontres de la Photographie de Marrakech». 

• The emerging talent of the year :

1. 250$ Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer).
2. Projection of the photography project at photo festival « Les Rencontres de la Photographie de Marrakech». 

• The best photo project outside Maghreb: 150$ Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer).
• The Maghreb « photo » of the year: 100$ Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer).
• The photo out of Maghreb of the Year: 50$ Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer(
• For all winners :

1. Extensive press coverage.
2. Publication of the winner's work in a photo book dedicated to the « Photography of Art and Author ».
3. All laureates agree to assign the image rights of their pictures that will be used later in the promotion of MPA on social networks or on the website of the competition and only for this purpose. Authors will retain their inalienable right to intellectual property.
