<p>The Common European <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Master&#39;s</strong></a> Programme in Biomedical Engineering &#39;CEMACUBE&#39; is now available for those who want to apply. The <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>scholarship</strong></a> for this program is open for Europeans and non-European applicants and will be allocated based upon the ranking of the applicant after selection. The scholarship has a total value of up to max 17000 euros (differs each year) and is for the full 24 months of the program and contributes towards the costs of accommodation, living, and travel between partner universities. The CEMACUBE program is organized by a consortium of some universities in Europe.</p><h3>Selection Criteria:</h3><p><strong>To make the first selection, the following selection procedure will be followed:</strong></p><ol><li><strong>Document check:</strong> Are all documents required present in the application package.</li><li><strong>Diploma check:</strong> Is the degree/diploma obtained valid and of sufficient quality to start the CEMACUBE program. This will be done using the Degree Quality Databases of the Netherlands organization for international cooperation in Higher education (Nuffic) and NARIC UK. If you want to see if your degree will be valid to start the CEMACUBE Master&#39;s program, please check the Country Module of your country at Nuffic (click <a href="http://www.nuffic.nl/en/diploma-recognition/country-modules/country-modules"><strong>here</strong></a>).</li><li><strong>Detailed document check:</strong> Checking CV, References, Transcripts (engineering-related courses), required test results (English, GRE) to decide if the candidates have the right background to start the program. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>In the last step, the GPA will be taken into account. Hence, the remaining candidates will be ordered from high to low according to their GPA. Please note that if you do not provide a GPA on your Application form as requested, you won&#39;t be included when all candidates are ordered. Please do not forget to mention the scale, as without a scale the GPA is just a number.</li></ol><h3>Benefits and Knowledge Required:</h3><ul><li>The scholarship has a total value of up to max 17000 euros (differs each year) and is for the full 24 months of the program and contributes towards the costs of accommodation, living, and travel between partner universities.</li><li>The goal of CEMACUBE is to acquire the ability to:</li></ul><ol><li>Work in interdisciplinary (engineering &ndash; medical) teams.</li><li>Work in international and thus intercultural (European) teams.</li><li>Communicate effectively with experts in (bio)medicine and technology.</li><li>Perform fundamental research in Biomedical Engineering.</li><li>Design innovative devices to improve diagnostics and treatment of patients.</li><li>Follow a post-Master&rsquo;s training in Biomedical Engineering.</li><li>Perform a PhD-study.</li><li>Train continuously (life-long-learning).</li></ol><h3>Participating Universities:</h3><p><strong>The CEMACUBE program is organized by a consortium of the following universities:</strong></p><ol><li>RWTH Aachen University, DE.</li><li>Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague, CZ.</li><li>Ghent University (UGent) together with Free University of Brussels (VUB), Brussels, BE.</li><li>Trinity College Dublin (TCD), IE.</li><li>University of Groningen (UG), NL.</li></ol><h3>Procedures After Acceptance:</h3><ol><li>If you have made it through the 4 steps mentioned above will be invited for an Interview.</li><li>In total, the interview will last 20-25 minutes. For this interview, the selected candidates will be asked to prepare a short presentation of 5 minutes (7 PowerPoint slides max.) on a scientific topic of their choice.&nbsp;</li><li>After the interviews, all candidates are discussed and ranked according to their performance and application package to determine if they are selected for the program.
