Photocrowd ,in association with Camera Jabber Photographer of the Year, invites all photographers and photography enthusiasts all over the world to participate with their photos in the “Festive celebration” Photo Contest. Things might be a little different this year but most of us will still be spending some time celebrating during this month, and all the lights, decoration, presents and food make great photographic subjects.
About the Competition:-
Camera Jabber’s Photographer of the Year 2020 competition is a monthly competition held over 12 rounds with prizes from DxO.
At the end of the year, the winning image from each round will go into the final for further consideration by the expert judges.
The photographer of the image they select as the overall winner will be awarded the title Camera Jabber Photographer of the Year 2020.
Prizes:-
The winner of each round selected by the expert judges will receive a license for DxO PhotoLab 3 Elite worth £169.
The Crowd vote winner will have their image featured on Camera Jabber.
At the end of year, the judges will select their favourite images from the 12 round-winning images and the photographer will receive a license for Nik Collection 2 by DxO worth £125 along with the title Camera Jabber Photographer of the Year 2020.
Selection Method:-
This contest is judged by an expert. In addition, there is a crowd voting by the crowd with two winners for both selection methods. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
Competition Timeline:-
- Entries close: 3 December, 2021.
- Judging: From 31 December 2020 to 9 January 2021.
- Winners announced: 9 January 2021.
