Opportunity description

The United Nations Volunteers Program is offering a volunteer opportunity as ASP.Net C# Developer software specialist for the educational administration system at Association pour la Solidarité et l'Assistance Socio-Sanitaire. Schools in low-income countries lack free and open-source administrative software. There are many existing school management software systems (SMS) but are expensive schools can't afford them and poor parents and students can't afford costs. SASS NON-PROFIT was asked by parents and school administrators with local authorities to help with creating SMS for their children to succeed and offer it to schools as a cloud-based Administrative and management system. This software built by UNV VOLUNTEERS enhance student performance, improve school retention, better learning environment, academic success, child protection, reduce paperwork, time wost and resources they don't have enough and hence to improve the overall performance of work at the School. This software (SMS) will work as an interactive medium among teachers, staff, students, parents & school administration due to the role performed by the system at their schools.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Microsoft Excel: Long experience of using it, able to create tables, forms, cruds screens, items, columns, colors with excel.
  • Use ASP.NET & C#, MS SQL, access database with MVP to create editable forms.
  • Able to create CRUD SCREENS, database, tables, application database server ETC.
  • You must Backend developer. Being also a frontend Development is an advantage. 
  • You agree to develop from scratch for MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ( SMS) and app.
  • You deliver end products.

Main Tasks:

An accepted volunteer to work as an ASP.Net C # developer must have long working experience in back end development and excel tables creation will be accepted to create SCHOOL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM & APPLICATION in code source GITHUB for all schools in the low-income countries & International student and refugees supporting organizations.

The volunteer's tasks include:

  • View in PDF files, the examples of crud screens or screenshots of other school Management systems (SMS) we collected as a guide to inspire you, Use Microsoft Excel to create forms similar cruds screens but with added improvements, buttons, items, columns, colors, create MORE Use ASP.NET & C# MS SQL, access database with MVP to create editable forms, CRUD SCREENS, database, tables, application database server ETC.
  • Work on Backend/frontend Development for A new (SMS). 
  • Create mobile applications, Develop SOLUTIONS & FEATURES for A SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM, the ASAP product and continue to add value to our Nonprofit software development (SMS).
