Online Volunteering Opportunity with the UN: Design of Project Fact Sheets

The United Nations Volunteers Program is offering an online volunteer opportunity in graphic design. The volunteer will work on the team to create the designs and artwork that the Communications Department uses in the new project sheets. This is part of UNDP Yemen's communications efforts to educate partners and stakeholders about UNDP Yemen's programming in the country. Therefore, these fact sheets are key to giving introductions and fast important information about each project that is operating in the internally recognized Government of Yemen areas.

Candidates should be professional graphic designers with previous experience in designing document layouts, have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, good writing skills. Translation skill to Arabic is considered an asset and privilege.

Main Tasks:

The online volunteer will be asked to create designs of one-pager fact sheets in Arabic and another in English for 11 projects, including graphs. All fact sheets will follow the same design layout, so that the UN Online Volunteer will practically create two designs only, one for the Arabic and the other for the English fact sheets, with changing the specific information of each project. The designs and their layouts should follow corporate design guidelines, which will be shared with the online volunteer in advance.
