The United Nations Volunteer Program is offering an online volunteer opportunity with the PAAJAF Foundation to develop a school management database. PAAJAF Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life through education in the Gbawe region in Ghana, Africa. PAAJAF believes that education is the key to the fundamental transformation of community on the way towards a prosperous future. The development of this database will contribute to a more efficient approach for communities and individuals to support the PAAJAF mission.
Eligibility criteria
- You are perfect for this role if you have 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Access and VBA, and are able to share sample access development work for review.
- You are task-oriented and can work independently with direction from team leadership.
- You push to complete projects on time and are comfortable bringing forward blocks or challenges to the team in order to stay productive.
- You love collaborating with people from all over the world. You are able to start immediately.
Main Tasks:
Collaborating with other volunteers and the CEO, this Online Volunteer will restructure and implement a database module that will be used to collects funds for the school's operations. The online volunteer will only be involved in the design, development, and implementation of the system. The Online Volunteer will not be asked to be involved in collecting fees, make donations in-kind, or soliciting any kind of funds from third parties.
