Phi's Research and Innovation Summit 2019

Under The Patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, president of the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), Chair of the Phi Science Institute Board of Trustees, Phi's Research and Innovation Summit 2019 will take place on 5th and 6th of August 2019.

About the Summit:

PRIS'19 is an annual gathering of the Jordanian and Arab youth under one goal and united by one passion: to create an Arab scientific revolution, a neo-renaissance era in scientific research and innovation.

PRIS'19 Activities:

• Plenary Sessions: By some of the biggest names in scientific research and innovation regionally and globally. These sessions will tackle significant topics in innovation and how youth can integrate themselves in and use the available opportunities in applied innovative research.
• Scientific Themes: Cutting-edge science sessions on the hottest and most recent topics and discoveries will take place. Four parallel sessions for each theme will be running at the same time by professors who have pioneered scientific research in their fields.
• Panel Discussions: Three parallel discussions will be running to discuss various topics related to networking and collaboration in science and scientific research. These panels will help bring on together professors and scientists from different backgrounds to thoroughly discuss mentioned topics.
• Phi’s Research and Innovation Competition: Participants will present their own ideas for research to be judged and reviewed by a specialized panel of judges. Rewards reach up to 5000 JD/month.
• Inspirational Talks: Talks: This is a platform for young Arab scientists and achievers to present their research and inventions to all participants of the summit. This aims to bring real examples to youth and what can they achieve at this young age.
• The Debate: Two teams that consist of professors and future scientists will be debating a controversial topic in science going through the ethical, scientific and social aspects.
• Science Expo: In order to show real projects that had the chance to come out in the Arab region, and to give hope for the young researchers that their ideas can someday turn to be a working product, a scientific exhibition of unique young scientists’ projects will take place during both days of the summit.

Venue:

The Summit will take place at one of the most beautiful venues in the Arab countries: King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center.
