Opportunity description
Those who are interested in African Studies and specifically marriage now have the opportunity to be part of Cadbury Research Fellowship Scheme. The fellowship will be a six week program at the University of Birmingham in England. The applicants must have completed PhD degree within the last four years or close to completing one. The program will mainly discuss marriage in Africa according to the following aspects: “Citizens, the state and the law”, “Gender, generation and temporality”, and “Emotions and popular culture”.
