Opportunity description

The University of Saskatchewan is offering the Misiwêskamik International Postdoctoral Fellowship. The fellowship lasts for 2 years and has a value of $44,000.

Eligibility:-

  • The applicant must have completed a
    PhD no earlier than three years prior to the start date of the proposed fellowship.
  • The applicant must not be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • The applicant’s PhD must have been earned outside of Canada.
  • The applicant cannot have been a resident in Saskatoon during the past twenty-four months.
  • The applicant may only receive this fellowship once.
  • The applicant must have demonstrated strong achievement and early success in their chosen field of specialization.

Benefits:-

  • The funding is at least $44,000 per year.
  • The fund will provide $22,000 each year and the recipient’s supervisor will also provide $22,000 to create total award amounts of $44,000 for each year of the two-year fellowship.
