The European Cultural Academy Venice is pleased to announce the opening for application to a short course Contemporary Art - Strategies to Develop and Refine your Ideas.
About the Course
It is an essential experience for future curators, artists and art professionals. During their time at ECA participants will discover the biggest and most prestigious art exhibition in the world - the Venice Biennale. They will get the insights during sessions with artists, curators, gallerists and of course, the Biennale team.

Participants Profile

Fees
This opportunity is not funded, the fees for the course are 1650 EURO which include the following:
- Classes and tuition.
- Study files/materials.
- Tickets to all museums and the Venice Biennale facilities during the program.
- European Cultural Centre catalog.
- Welcome and graduation events (welcoming breakfast and a boat ride).
- Goodie bag with a map of Venice, notebook and a pen.
- Personalized graduation certificate.

About the Lecturers
This course will be given by international experts from all over the world. Here are some of the lecturers:
- Danielle Krysa: Painter, curator and writer behind the contemporary art website the Jealous Curator.
- Cristina Gregorin: Venice Cultural Heritage Expert.
- Lucia Pedrana: Director of the European Cultural Center.
- Omri Revesz: Designer based in Venice. His works have been exhibited in major design platforms such as Biennale di Venezia, Salone del mobile, Maison&Objet Paris, and were published in numerous design magazines.
