<p>The European Cultural Academy Venice is pleased to announce the opening for application to a short course <strong>Contemporary Art - Strategies to Develop and Refine your Ideas.</strong></p><h3><strong>About the Course</strong></h3><p>It is an essential experience for future curators, artists and art professionals. During their time at ECA participants will discover the biggest and most prestigious art exhibition in the world - the Venice Biennale. They will get the insights during sessions with artists, curators, gallerists and of course, the Biennale team.</p><h3><strong>Why should you join</strong></h3><ul><li>ECA is an official Venice Biennale Sessions Educational Partner.</li><li>We will share 15-years experience in the art industry.</li><li>Organised by the 2nd largest foundation in Venice next to the Biennale.</li></ul><h3><strong>Participants Profile</strong></h3><p>Participants will study in international environment with their peers from Europe, USA, Asia and Canada. Students, curators, museum workers, artists and art lovers are welcome.</p><h3><strong>Fees</strong></h3><p>This opportunity is not funded, the fees for the course are 1650 EURO which include the following:</p><ol><li>Classes and tuition.</li><li>Study files/materials.</li><li>Tickets to all museums and the Venice Biennale facilities during the program.</li><li>European Cultural Centre catalog.</li><li>Welcome and graduation events (welcoming breakfast and a boat ride).</li><li>Goodie bag with a map of Venice, notebook and a pen.</li><li>Personalized graduation certificate.</li></ol><p>Note: Visa and accommodation support will be provided by European Cultural Academy Venice.</p><h3><strong>About the Lecturers</strong></h3><p>This course will be given by international experts from all over the world. Here are some of the lecturers:</p><ul><li>Danielle Krysa: Painter, curator and writer behind the contemporary art website the Jealous Curator.</li><li>Cristina Gregorin: Venice Cultural Heritage Expert.</li><li>Lucia Pedrana: Director of the European Cultural Center.</li><li>Omri Revesz: Designer based in Venice. His works have been exhibited in major design platforms such as Biennale di Venezia, Salone del mobile, Maison&amp;Objet Paris, and were published in numerous design magazines.</li></ul>
