Viewbug's Capture The Ocean Photo Contest with Prizes Worth of $1500

Viewbug photography website is launching a new contest under the theme of "Capture The Ocean", as each and everyone interested in creative photography is invited to take part in this contest.

For this contest, Viewbug invites you to show us how you explore and capture the oceans. From big wave surfing and stormy weather to calm ocean shores and pristine tropical waters; show how you capture the ocean in a creative way and get inspired by the submissions from the community.

Here at ViewBug we love our amazing planet. In order to minimize our impact we’re proud to present the Earth First contest series, which awards top-end gear that was lovingly used by another creative individual. Providing high-quality, pre-owned prizes puts less strain on the planet, and allows us to offer even bigger prizes. Classic win win!

Participants always maintain the rights to their submissions.

Participation eligibility:

1. All genders, ages, nationalities can apply.
2. There are no fees whatsoever required from Pro members to enter the contest.
3. By entering the contest participants accept the terms of use.

Winning photos will be determined based on the following criteria: 

1. Creativity.
2. Originality.
3. Being in accordance with the theme. 

How winners will be selected:

Everyone is invited to vote for their favorite photos and help Viewbug finding the winner of this photo contest. The more audience vote the better the results. The top photos receiving the most votes from Viewbug’s audience will be viewed by its judges. One winner out of the most voted photos will be selected as the People's Choice Winner.

Prizes: 

Total prize value of $1500 divided into two categories:  

1. Grand Jury Winner: One lucky winner will receive a Sony Alpha 7 II E-mount interchangeable lens mirrorless camera with a full-frame sensor. Capture stunning images with full-frame, 24.3MP resolution, fast hybrid AF with phase-detection. Selected photographer will also be featured as a recommended photographer on viewbug and will receive a social media exposure bundle. 
2. People's Choice: One winner will be getting the following: Win your choice of: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens or
   Nikon AF FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D Lens.
