Schindler Group is pleased to announce The Schindler Global Award (SGA) for 2018, which will focus on the impact and implications of current and future mobility systems on urban development in one of the most globally significant cities - Mumbai.
The competition opened on July 16, 2018, with entries due at the end of January 2019, and the deadline for applications is 30 October 2018.
Eligibility:
The SGA 2018/19 is open to final-year bachelor’s and all master’s degree students of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and planning, from degree-granting educational institutions worldwide.
Three key concepts are part of the Global Schindler Award Competition:
[1] Shared Global Responsibility.
[2] Future Cities.
[3] Urban Through Mobility.
Prizes:
[1] First Prize: US$ 25'000.
[2] Second Prize: US$ 15'000.
[3] Third Prize: US$ 12'500.
[4] 3x Honorable Mention: US$ 7'500 each.
[5] 5 x Travel Grant: US$ 5'000 each.
Registration Process:
[1] Fill in the data about the school you are attending the competition.
[2] Fill in the data about the tutor, who will be supporting you during the competition.
[3] Fill in the data about each participating student. Applications may be submitted by individuals or by a team (maximum of 12 students per team).
[4] Accept the registration conditions.
